Terra
Ignota
In the past, cartographers used the term Terra Ignota to indicate unexplored territories, adding the Latin expression HIC SVNT DRACONES (here are dragons) to mean that frightening creatures inhabited the unknown. Now that every part of the world has been digitized, and that the ends of the Earth are observable on the screens of our devices with very high resolutions, new lands to explore mysteriously emerge from the relationship between the technology, the structures of capitalist society and our imagination and creativity.
